Rajasthan does it with aplomb. After having been to many parts of the country and astonished with unexpected hospitality in most places, this state does the tourism business with effortless ease.
Although the situation is getting commercial in cities, yet it is the small towns in Rajasthan that keep offering unforgettable experiences to tourists.
This unassuming couple had just walked into the famous 4 door corridor inside City Palace and were completely floored when all the Indians gathered and wanted to click them against the backdrop of the gate. They just couldn't stop giggling and it was a pleasing sight to see that in public.
Still earth day on the west coast!! Nothing makes me happier than finding beauty somewhere new. Or re-discovering it somewhere familiar. Grateful for the places I've gotten to see and can't wait to explore so many more 😌🌎💖 #sappyearthdaypost !! #protecttheplanet
Buckley Ponds, outside the town of Bishop in the Owens River Valley, provide beautiful afternoon reflections in the calm waters. A series of winding dirt trails through this section of the eastern Sierra Nevada is fun to explore in a high clearance vehicle. The ponds are managed by the US Forest Service and were recently cleared of non-native, invasive plant species in an effort to rehabilitate the area into a warm water fishing area for bass and bluegill. I can tell you at sunset the mosquitoes are rampant, providing an ample food source for the fish!
Happy #earthday ! 🌍 💚
