I did it! I cooked my first meal in an old school pressure cooker...and I didn't blow up my kitchen.....Although I did run and hide behind the kitchen wall when it made some funny noises and the knob started spinning because at first I wasn't sure what the hell was going on 😂 This was the final step in my challenge to use every last bit of Easter dinner. I slow cooked for 100 hours all the turkey and chicken bones with leftover veggies to make an amazingly healthy, deep-coloured bone broth then canned most of it. We've been drinking bone broth for the nutrients and I used it for the liquid base of my Julia Child's French Onion Soup. After straining all my bone broth out, I manually ground all the leftover bones, meat and veggies into Pet Food that our dogs and cats LOVE! Making a #healthy yet #tasty#salad at home take 5 mins!
1) Toss some greens with EVOO, salt, pepper and some balsamic vinegar
2) slice 5/6 cherry tomatoes
3) add shaved parmesan #cheese
4) mix everything with some pre-cooked "Farro"
5) in a pre-heated pan sauteed 5 prawns with just EVOO and white wine and add them on top of your salad!

First attempt at skillet pizza. 🍕I was worried I had done it all wrong, but it came out really good actually! I used my pizza cutter to cut it in strips, them rolled them up and dipped them in a pizza sauce that I found that's 5g net carbs per serving (Delallo is the brand). Will def be making again!
I have some people asking me about my diet. I am definitely not the person who's diet you want to emulate. So for breakfast today I had alot of coffee heavy cream -300 calories (I'm estimating) for lunch I had a few baja chicken tacos from cheesecake factory. (Menu said they were 1200 calories but I didn't eat 1 taco nor did I touch the beans or rice.) Finished the day off with a light dinner my favorite summer time dinner. I'm a pretty healthy eater but I am definitely a cheese addict and would die without. We all decide what makes us happy just means you work harder in other areas no matter what your addiction is. Point is don't feel guilty if you don't meal prep or follow a strict diet. Eat clean, eat organic, eat healthy, and DON'T give up what you love. You might decide to limit eating food you love to lose weight, and that is awesome, but don't give it up. Life is to short to be left wanting and wishing. This go for all aspects of your life.
