SHOCKING! From the New Orleans Item in 1921. It reads: "Uh, huh, knickers, and on the square too. The young women of the picture are two New Orleans girls who have taken to the feminine trouserettes as more comfortable and convenient. They are the Misses Ida Bell and Virgie Micelle. "And those are more economical than skirts and what go with them," said the young ladies who were caught by The Item cameraman as they were stepping along one morning toward the French Market. It must be reported that some of the conservatives in the old quarter of the city - those who frowned at any less ample curtaining than a hoop skirt - gasped at the sight." #knickers#neworleans#flappergirl#flappers#1920s#trousers#nola#vintagefashion#vintagestyle#vintageclothing#vintage

I never studied sewing. It was all started from reading sewing books in language that I don't understand. This is passion. One advise....follow your passion, not your parents, not your teachers.....YOURS.
