I LOVE food and I couldn't think of anything more depressing than living a life where I had to deny myself from eating meals that make me happy.
Too many people have a bad relationship with food, and too many people go for convenience over cooking from scratch and knowing exactly what's going into their food.
We live in a time where we have never been more aware of what is right and what is wrong to eat. Every other thing you hear or read is talking about good fats, healthy living, lowering your cholesterol, exercising to keep fit, fueling your body etc etc.
There is nothing wrong with treating ourselves with things that are most definitely chosen for taste and not for health, as long as it's in moderation. But we need to start embracing whole foods and I'm pretty sure you will start to think that the healthier versions of your favourite foods taste a whole lot better and you'll have the added bonus of feeling good after you've eaten it!
You don't need to be rich to afford good food, you don't need to have plenty of time and no commitments to be able to plan and prepare good food and you don't need to be a Michelin star chef to make good food.
You just need to read up and learn a little bit about what your body needs to take you through a good long life.
There are so many great healthy, easy recipes to follow on the internet that there really is no excuse. ▫️
A few days ago he made some #bread :) You can get loads of ready mix packets from aldi, asda etc. Cheap and cheerful...FYI- just make sure to check the exp dates as bread does not rise or turns out hard if its out of date.

P A P A JO H N S 🍕😍 It is a @papajohnsuk kind of day! Half BBQ chicken and half BBQ beef brisket, you cannot go wrong 😋 I do love a Papa Johns when I really fancy carb loading and being really naughty on a cheat day 👍🏻 I do always opt for low fat cheese (got to be healthy somehow 🙄) but then stuff myself with several pieces of XXL pizza 😂
Palermo = forno in questi giorni.. quasi 40° e non si respira. Due gocce di pioggia non mi dispiacerebbero!
Comunque ieri vi avevo detto che vi avrei raccontato dei risultati ottenuti con la "manovra" della settimana scorsa: i primi giorni sono stati difficili, la mancanza di carboidrati mi faceva andare a letto con lo stomaco che brontolava, nei giorni successivi sono riuscita ad adattarmi e adattare ciò che mangiavo ai miei gusti in modo da esserne soddisfatta (avete visto cosa ho mangiato) e niente, alla fine è andato tutto liscio come l'olio e la settimana è passata in fretta!
Risultati: inaspettatamente sono sgonfiata perdendo 1.2 kg. Questa settimana ho ripreso a mangiare normalmente e il peso è rimasto invariato... sono contenta!
