#fbf to this #makeup I did a few weeks ago.
As you can tell, it's quite vampy, once again, I'm obsessed with them 🦇🦇
I used @bhcosmetics "Day and Night" palette and @maccosmetics "redd" lip liner for the eyes, and "Brooklyn Thorn" by @nyxcosmetics on my lips.
Contour and hightlights using the "Golden Sugar" palette by @makeuprevolution, thanks to @canariasmakeup ❤️ Hope you have a good Friday and a nice weekend ✌🏻
@daryna_barykina has mastered the art of self portraiture (selfies on steroids) and is a true artist creating incredible beauty images that get our creative juices flowing 🙌💕 much love to this beauty and our #beautybossoftheweek
so I've been making these kinds of posts since last august. Where I upload something, blog for about three weeks and vanish for 3-4 months, I owe you guys an explanation for that. Here it is: I hate instagram. I hate what it's become. When I first started this blog in early 2014, the people I still follow today, it was all about the passion and products. Heck, the most high quality photos you found on here were shot on a window ledge with an iPhone5?? nobody cared about the quality! It was all about the products, the love for makeup and the passion for it. Now, in 2017? The community has almost tripled in size, and people are just constantly fighting. It's a never ending battle of who has the best quality content and the most expensive products, or who has the most likes and follows and collabs and sponsorships. Every time I logged into instagram, I was overwhelmed with this environment, where my old community of blogger friends I've made are outweighed by people who are just out for the comments on their pictures and the amount you can spend on makeup. I'm more than anything I missed the old beauty community, so I kept giving it up. What happened to the passion? So here's the real thing I want for this blog: I want to keep pumping out the content I make, shot on my canon, touched up and flatlayed how I like, but I'm bringing back something else back: the passion. I wanna bring back the same love and community and PASSION for makeup and beauty that I experienced when I first joined beauty blogging, because that's what it's about, and it's what people are forgetting. I'm really motivated to bring back this flare in any way I can, and I hope you're all here to support me whilst I do. Big big big love <3
