_The point of laser therapy-

Hello friends 🤓 been getting back to my work schedule and finding my summer routine BUT
Something I would like to share with u all is the importance of trying something you've never done before and believing that you are capable of more than you are already doing. (This in no way is me bragging about myself but giving you guys an example and what lead me to share this with you). Yesterday I was doing squats (my fav 😋) and for the past few months I've only let myself work up to 225 while cutting, do a couple sets and then going back down. I didn't plan on doing more than 5 reps, because that's what I was used to, but on my second set I said hey you should try for more. So I did. I ended up doing 8 which I've never tried at that weight and it was so much easier than I thought. I'm sure one of you reading may think oh three more reps is not that much of a difference, and sure I probably could have hit 10. But the point is, I used to limit myself to 5 because even though I could rep that, I didn't know I could be doing more as easy as I did. There was even a point about a year and a half ago that I didn't know I could even squat 225 at all but someone believed in me and pushed me to try it. Ever since then I've realized a potential in myself I never thought was possible, for a long time anyways. Food for thought, don't limit yourself!!! Switch your mentality and your body will perform 🤗

I can't imagine what life would be like right now if i hadn't snapped myself out of the funk i was creating in my head in the right pic 😬. Eating junk food, mcdonald's, etc. everyday AND drinking beer everyday. Not caring what i put in my body, or how my body felt processing all that processed crap. In my head, I had time to workout and get healthy, i'm young - i have time 🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️. it wasn't important to me and i wasn't motivated to make a change because change is HARD! 😫Looking in the mirror and admitting to yourself that you're fucking up and THEN following thru and making a CHANGE? That shit is so hard and scary. .
But i knew that i owed it to future Alex to make the healthy choice🤓. I looked into the future 10,20,30 years, with the perspective of the way i was living and treating my body. and i saw a woman who would remain uncomfortable, insecure, would only become more overweight, continuing horrible bad habits and not taking care of myself. I saw doctor visits, health problems, surgeries, and misery. I Decided i did not want to be one of those 50 something women who constantly complain about pain, doctor visits, i can't do this/can't do that cuz my hip/knees/heart/COPD, whatever. I REFUSE to be young and unhealthy, at any age 😜. .
I decided i wanted to be HAPPY, vibrant, confident, healthy, unlimited in what activities i can do, because my body is healthy and ready for any challenge; i wanted to feel sexy again, and look in the mirror and love the woman looking back at me. Not pick at her flaws and critique her anymore. Life is meant to be LIVED, we are not meant to sit on the sidelines and watch because we created health problems thru a sedentary lifestyle and improper nutrition/diet 🚫
