Only had 5 mins to spare this morning after seeing @lf_insta86 and before heading onto my next sesh...but the ladders on the kids playground were too perfect to resist for a bit of #Humanflag training...
Not enough time to really adequately warm up so kept it cool and worked on my #ChamberHold a bit, focusing on the top half of the movement and playing around with different leg postitioning.

💥Step ups with clock toe touch💥
These are two great drills I use to integrate foot/ankle/hip mobility and stability into some very common (dare I say functional) patterns. To spice up the exercise a bit I've offloaded some kettlebells (12kg and 16kg) onto @theyoak to create a pendulum effect making stabilization much more difficult.
Here are the keys to performing this drill.
🔑 Prep with your favorite foot/ankle/hip mobility.
🔑For all of these, stability starts with a quality brace which will allow you to create enough stiffness in the spine to move without buckling in the low back.
🔑 After the brace, your focus is on the foot. It should be nice and active with what's referred to as a "short foot". Think of tightening the foot to make it skinnier and shorter in appearance. Then pressing equally through the big toe knuckle, little toe knuckles, and heel.
🔑 Make sure with the step ups, lean the torso forward slightly so you're loading the hip as you begin to transfer weight onto the front foot.
🔑 With the clock toe touches. Be sure to hinge as much as possible as you squat down. The knee will pass over the knee, but the first motion should be to load the hips and not the quads.

I was able to get my DROM paintball gear in time for the Renegade Paintball Championship Finale last week. I must say it is one of the best gears I have worn throughout my years of playing paintball. HOW TO STRETCH YOUR HIP FLEXOR THE RIGHT WAY! [soft-tissue issue]
When I see people doing their hip flexor stretches, I see so much back arch, and even though you're getting an ok stretch you're not maximizing it👊👊!
Try this small, but VERY significant adjustment to make your hip flexor stretch more effective!
💥Assume your normal hip flexor stretch (one knee on the ground and one in front)
💥 Imagine you're wearing a BIG belt buckle! Keep that belt buckle pointing straight ahead ⬅️ or slightly up ⬆️ throughout the entire stretch.
🔥 If you watch the video, on my first attempt, I arch my back and start shifting forward. I can shift pretty far forward but my imaginary Big belt buckle is pointing slightly down ↙️, and I'm not getting as much of a stretch on the hip flexors (psoas). .
🔥🔥 On my second attempt, I point that belt buckle straight ahead (posterior pelvic tilt) and start shifting forward making sure I don't let that belt buckle point down (anterior pelvic tilt).
