Got my strength back after my 25k and sister birthday bender in Chicago. Quick 3.6 mi at a 8:34 minute mile pace (rl fast for me). Feeling myself, grateful for my body, my education, my ability to listen and admit I'm wrong and grow. Grateful for some of the amazing people in my life. Struggling with feeling welcome in this town, but working on caring less about what str8 white dudes think of my attitude, and more about the constructive conversations I've been having.

Just completed my first benchmark run. Best run so far but so hard. 7 mins warm up, 3 mins max pace then 5 mins cool down. Loved the inspiration on my way round heard this so much "there is no finish only a start". Thanks for making me smile. #run#runs#running
