It's race day tomorrow, Maroondah Dam 30km with 1400m+ of elevation, the final race before @ultratrailaustralia 100km in 3 weeks time. I don't hate hills as much as I used to, apparently. Today I chose a hilly creek trail for my long run instead of a flat trail. I'd rather have scenery and some hills rather than stare at a long, straight, paved trail. Just keeping the road less travelled by. Eight miles this evening was exactly what I needed, and I reached my #twentyweeklymiles goal (plus one).
I'm thinking I need more of everything... This is not gonna do for what I have planned for this weekend's training adventures running around the mountains.

• 10-20 x Russian twists (can also use dumbells) Keep core stable and control your movement, torso facing forwards
• 10-20 x Cross Over Crunch
• 10-20 x Oblique Crunches each side! (My Fav!!)
• Lower Lowering (the killer!) For this, beginners should try lower legs over 5 slow counts, hold for 5, slowly raise. Intermediate try 10! 💪🏼

If you have the problem of you GPS watch not recording you actual path for the first few Kim's it is probably because you didn't wait long enough for it to acquire enough satellites. Depending on you model there should be a screen that shows gps accuracy. I wait until it gets down to at least +/- 6m #morningrun#lovemygarmin
